Turkey’s healthcare sector and its related industries are considered as strategically
important within the country as these industries have economic and social impacts. As Turkey’s spending on healthcare industry has been increasing, new goods and services are being introduced to the market each year.

With the help of reforms, improvements on healthcare sector have been followed by investments in R&D. With this progresses, local manufacturing capacity and export volume
have also increased. Medical, surgical, dental appliances, orthopedic appliances and mechano-therapy appliances are ranked as most exported products from Turkey.
