How can you be more sustainable?

We are working with exhibitors, event partners and attendees to make MEOS GEO 2025 a more sustainable event. Here are suggestions and tips for building a sustainable energy event.

Visitors checklist

1 Be mindful of the waste you produce. Reduce it and use recycling bins when appropriate

2 Opt for public transport and trains instead of planes and taxis whenever you can

3 Choose eco-certified hotels to lower your carbon footprint, and inquire about their specific sustainability programmes at check-in

4 Ask exhibiting companies about their sustainability practices and products

What can exhibitors do?

Through our community, purposeful partnerships and meaningful content, we provide guidelines to help all exhibitors put sustainability at the heart of their business.

Exhibitors checklist

1 Promote your company's and your products' sustainability credentials

2 Reduce your waste by ensuring the structure of your stand is not disposed of after the event, but used again

3 Avoid printing paperwork and download the event app ahead of the event to plan your time instead

4 Select energy-efficient lighting and equipment for your stand and be sure to power down your equipment at the end of the day
