Oman is building an Orthotics Centre in Al Wattayah in Muscat.

"The Orthotics Centre is being funded by Sohar Aluminum Company, Salalah Methanol Company, Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO), and Khoula Hospital.
The parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to finance the construction of the centre, which cost more than $390,000 (OMR150,000). The Orthotics Centre, which will be adjacent to Khoula Hospital in Al Wattayah, will start rendering its services to those requiring orthotics in 2018.
And is said to provide a range of supports, braces, insoles, and special footwear. The existing centre caters to the needs of more than 4,000 patients every year, according to Oman News Agency (ONA). The new building, which will stretch over about 600 metres, will include clinics, offices for staff, and workshops."
