"Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saeedi unveiled the new building that spans 1.1ha (11,000 sqm) and was developed through ""a generous donation from Suhail Bahwan Foundation".
State agency ONA reported that the building comprises three departments: outpatient clinics; rehabilitation and physical therapy; and the day surgical care department. Outpatient clinics at the new facility commenced operations a month ago, with the latter two beginning activity following the inauguration. Khoula Hospital was launched in 1974, according to data provided by the country's Ministry of Health.
More than 1,700 staff serve at the hospital, which comprised 517 beds prior to the new building's opening"
