Overview

Theme: Decision-making in complex cases

The Surgery conference is a scientific programme for general surgeons involved in ‘’Decision-making in complex cases’’ who want to refine their procedural skills.

The conference is intended for physicians who are interested in performing advanced procedures and is suitable for experienced surgical specialists and consultants involved in MIS, GI, Bariatric, Onco-surgery, thoracic, plastics, head and neck and emergency surgery. The course will cover both the theoretical aspects around the relevant procedures in addition to case-based experiences on these procedures. 

The scientific programme incorporates components that offer something for surgeons from senior to mid-levels of expertise, from consultant surgeons to chiefs of surgery, and is open to registrants from all levels of expertise in the specialty. It will bring together practicing surgeons, providing accredited continuing medical education, and the opportunity for dialogue on educational and peer-reviewed research.
